Playlist Buddy

Let your members suggest songs for your server playlist and vote for the ones they like most.

Playlist Buddy takes care of everything else.

Commands

Set up Playlist Buddy with /setvotechannel. This command creates a Spotify playlist for your server and sets the channel where the votings will be posted.

Anyone can suggest a song using /suggestsong. Please note that only Spotify track links are supported.

/setvoterole lets you choose a role to be mentioned whenever a vote starts or ends.

/playlist resends the link to your Spotify playlist.

Rules

• Members have three days to submit new song suggestions. Each member can suggest one song per round.

• Duplicate songs are not allowed. Playlist Buddy automatically checks whether a suggested song is already in the playlist.

• Each vote lasts 24 hours. The song with the most votes is added to the playlist. In the event of a tie, all songs with the highest vote count are added. If no song receives any votes, no songs will be added.

• Once the voting period ends, all suggestions are cleared, allowing members to submit new songs for the next round.
