Moonlight is a lightweight, easy to use Discord music bot that comes with everything you need to set up your server with tunes, whether it be a large community or a small friend group; completely free of subscriptions or paywalls.

Voice Commands (Beta) – Moonlight features the first voice command system for a discord music bot All major bot functions and controls can be triggered entirely by your own voice. Requesting songs, skips, volume changes, pausing, and even more can be done without lifting a finger.

Hate that you have to tab out to change a song, lower the volume because an ear piercingly-loud song started playing, or pause so you can hear your teammates? Simply say “moonlight, pause” or “moonlight, volume 35” and Moonlight has you covered.

Moonlight’s voice command system runs entirely on internal AI models and does not utilize third party services - keeping your sensitive data private and anonymous. Moonlight is configurable, and various quality of life settings can be toggled based on your preferences such as behavior, user control, and profanity

A Master User system is included to allow server admins to restrict bot usage to specific members as needed. Master Users have the ability to utilize all music related commands, while all other members are barred from playing songs or skipping tracks while the system is enabled. Moonlight’s Master User system stores user IDs internally, therefore a custom role is not required - keeping your role hierarchy clean.

Moonlight’s website features an online dashboard where you can view currently playing songs and upcoming tracks in the queue in a more elegant and intuitive user interface for those who prefer it. Website-based queue controls are coming soon in a future update, so stay tuned!
