1. Nickname Customization

• Assign default nicknames to new members.
• Customize nicknames with placeholders:
  • {uname}: Username
  • {gname}: Global Name
• Add prefixes or suffixes based on roles or server-specific configurations.

2. Role-Based Nicknames

• Dynamically update nicknames when members gain or lose roles.
• Use /role-add or /role-add-all to integrate specific or all roles with AutoNickname.
• For role-based nicknames, you can add {randomnumberX}. A timestamp-based approach is used to ensure better randomness, providing unique values based on the current time. This handles the {randomnumberX} placeholders, where X is the number of digits requested, by dynamically extracting digits from the timestamp.

3. Welcome Messages

• Customize and send welcome messages via DM to new members.
• Toggle the welcome feature using /status-welcome-dm.

4. Logging System

📌 Important Notes

• Role Hierarchy:
  • The bot cannot modify nicknames if the target role is higher than the bot's role.
  • Ensure the bot's role is at the top of the server role list for proper functionality.
• Server Owner Nicknames:
  • Discord does not allow bots to change the server owner's nickname.

Role Position for AutoNickname

The first GIF demonstrates the AutoNickname feature for new members. This is the recommended setup role position if your server has a members role.

The second GIF ensures that the setup role position for changes nicknames based on members' roles (when a role is added or removed). Note that the bot will not be able to change nicknames if the target role or the role being set is higher than the bot's role itself. To resolve this, you must move the bot's role to the top like this.

• If you are the server owner, the bot can't change your nickname! (This cannot be fixed due to Discord rules.)
