language · Requires Manage Server
Sets the language used when members select Server default.
/schedule set accepts:
Required
channel — Destination text channel
language — Briefing language
hour — Local delivery hour from 0–23
Optional
minute — Local minute from 0–59
timezone — IANA timezone; defaults to UTC
country — Country filter
category — Intelligence category filter
/schedule set channel:#morning-brief language:English hour:8 timezone:Europe/London /schedule set channel:#security language:English hour:13 minute:30 timezone:UTC category:Cyber /schedule set channel:#ukraine language:Українська hour:9 timezone:Europe/Kyiv country:Ukraine
Supported timezone examples include UTC, America/New_York, Europe/London, Europe/Kyiv, Asia/Tokyo, and Australia/Sydney.
Use IANA zones for daylight-saving accuracy. EST, EDT, and ET are normalized to America/New_York; equivalent US Central, Mountain, and Pacific aliases are also normalized.
Only one schedule is stored per server. Running /schedule set again replaces it. Schedule changes and tests require Manage Server.
Critical watches poll IntelMap's cached public feed once per minute. One shared fetch per language serves every configured server; each server keeps an independent bounded signal-ID ledger to prevent duplicate delivery after restart.
/alerts set channel:#critical country:Ukraine minimum_priority:4 language:English /alerts set channel:#cyber country:United States minimum_priority:3 category:Cyber role:@Analysts /alerts status /alerts test /alerts disable
Setup requires Manage Server. IntelBot must have View Channel, Send Messages, and Embed Links in the destination. Optional role notifications require a mentionable role or permission to mention roles.
Alerts arm from configuration time. Existing matching signals become the initial baseline and are not replayed as new incidents. Delivery is bounded to five new alerts per server per cycle.
General, military, diplomatic, economic, humanitarian, climate, seismic, cyber, space, and maritime.
Categories are produced from source metadata and automated classification, so occasional mistakes are possible.
RAW — Show untouched source text
Native — Use the original when it already matches the selected language
Translated — Show IntelMap's local machine translation
Pending — Fall back to raw text until translation is ready
Supported views: RAW, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, and Ukrainian.
IntelBot needs View Channels, Send Messages, Embed Links, and Use Application Commands.
It does not need Administrator, message-management permissions, member-list access, or the privileged Message Content intent. Role notification is optional.
IntelBot does not read ordinary messages. It stores only each server's language, digest schedule, alert configuration, and bounded duplicate-prevention ledger. Read the full IntelMap privacy policy.
IntelBot provides the Discord briefing. IntelMap provides the complete interactive globe, live dashboard, one-year archive, aircraft, vessels, cameras, cyber activity, source context, and full signal dossiers.
IntelMap indexes open-source reporting. Verify consequential information with the original source.
