One of the most common scam tactics on Discord is someone copying a staff member's username or profile picture and DMing your members. SecurityBot catches both.

• Block specific names and terms from being used as nicknames, including visually similar variants that use special characters to sneak past exact-match filters
• Protect staff avatars with a pixel-to-pixel comparison engine that flags near-identical copies, not just exact matches
• Any user who joins with or switches to a protected avatar gets kicked automatically
• Use /protect_avatar to protect any member at any time

🚫 Network-Wide Scammer Filter

Every new member is checked against a shared scammer database built from reports across all SecurityBot communities. Known scammers are banned the moment they join, before they can send a single message.
