Stick It Bot solves a simple, annoying problem: the important message in your channel (rules, an announcement, a support link, an event) gets buried the second people start chatting. Stick It Bot fixes that by automatically reposting your sticky message so it always stays visible at the bottom of the conversation, without you lifting a finger.

Why Stick It Bot?

Most sticky-message bots hold their best features behind a premium subscription — embeds, unlimited stickies, editing — all locked unless you pay. Stick It Bot doesn't do that. It's fully self-hosted, so every feature is available from day one, for every server, for free. There's no tier system and nothing to unlock.

Set a plain-text sticky in seconds with /stick, or go further with /stick-embed for a fully styled embed — custom title, description, and accent color to match your server's branding.

Smart auto-repost

Stick It Bot watches channel activity and reposts the sticky once either 5 new messages come in or 15 seconds pass since it last sent — whichever happens first. That means it reappears quickly in quiet channels but won't spam a busy one.

One sticky per channel, unlimited per server

Run stickies in your rules channel, your announcements channel, your support channel, and anywhere else — all at once, all managed independently.

Built-in permission diagnostics

Not sure why a sticky isn't posting? /perm-check inspects the bot's exact permissions in the current channel and tells you precisely what's missing, instead of leaving you guessing.

How it works

Stick It Bot stores active stickies and a lightweight history of removed ones in simple local files — no external database, no third-party data sharing, no analytics phoning home. Everything the bot knows about your server lives on the same machine that's running it.
