For being one of literally the only anti-raid tools on discord, for some reason, lockbot has always fell pitifully short of my expectations.    I hope the "new" version ends up better. 


Specifically, the fact that you can only give people the Lock ability if they.. also have the Ban ability, means that instead of giving trusted community members in the dozens emergency join-lock permissions, you physically need to trust them all with hard ban permissions.

Guess what lockbot?  I already have three different bots on my server capable of banning people.  Nobody looks at lockbot and goes "Oh yes, this will make a wonderful *primary moderation tool*.

Lockbot is supplementary.  And if it's developers realized that and didn't instantly take an all or nothing approach to permissions, I wouldn't be complaining so hard.  As of that fact, lockbot has managed to stop 0 raids on my server, due to the fact only trusted admins can be given it's perms. 

tbh i think lock bot is an amazing bot! i used to use arcane but now i use lock bot and its much better thanks for creating this!

One of the best bots for preventing raids. The customer service is incredible, they have responded to us and fixed our problems within a nick of sending a complaint to them. Kudos to the developers, they are really hardworking and deserve the recognition!

Useful for our large 100k+ server that unfortunately gets bot raided more often than it should. We'd used it successfully before at the beginning of the month with a huge 300+ bot raid. Had another (thankfully small) raid today and ran into problems (bot could kick but wouldn't ban), and Miguel came into our server to help to troubleshoot, and bot seems to work now. Appreciate the fast communication and help!

Lockbot just went offline and never come online. For the first time when it was online, it was great.

Thanks for your comment this should have been resolved as we had issues with custom prefixes and spamming server console, but this has been resolved
