It really is very useful. Not all of your Guild mates want to be bothered to keep an eye on pc or pts patch notes so it's a big help for anyone to just hop on the server and see them front and center. Pile on things like the global searching system for Sets, what's in the Luxury Shop, what Pledges are available today, skills, and trials and you've got the one-stop news shop for your server.
