LogEye is a bot that can be used to log all sort of events in a server. This can be usefull to track the history of your server. The bot will let you select the events you want to log in your server.

Why do I need it?

In Discord there is already a feature called "Audit Logs". In my opinion its not very good, because it doesn't show all the information. LogEye wil put any piece of information that is available into a message, and send it in the channel you selected.

Setup

LogEye doesn't have a lot of commands, since this is only a bot that wil log events in the server. Note: The default prefix is [ - ], if you changed it already, you need to use your new prefix instead of the default prefix.

To set up the channel for logs:

-settings edit channel <name of channel>

To set your own prefix:

-settings edit prefix <newPrefix>

If you want to separately select events, you need to know what events exist, to do that run:

-settings view

Every setting inside the message that you get back from the bot except prefix and channel is an event you can select, to enable/disable a event, to do that:

-settings edit <event> <true/false>

For example: I want the bot to log channel updates (like name changes of a channel), then I use:

-settings edit channelupdate true

If I think it's not usefull and I want to disable it, I use:

-settings edit channelupdate false
