Getting Started

Cast a line with /fish, wait for a bite, and reel it in.

Every catch is rendered as its own image — no two look quite the same.

• Keep or sell your fish to earn coins and XP and level up your angler.
• Use your coins to purchase better gear and bait in the /shop.
• Unlock new /locations, /gear, and features as you level up.
• Build a /camp, build unique buildings, and upgrade them to earn passive benefits and income.
• Collect rare and unique fish and display them in your personal /tank.
• Open treasure chests to find rare items, gear, and exclusive titles.
• Earn passive income via your /net to passively catch fish and chests while you touch grass!

Many Fishing Locations

• Start in peaceful streams and ponds.
• Unlock exotic locations: deep oceans, volcanic hot springs, frozen arctic waters, mysterious caves.
• Travel between North America, Europe and Asia with /travel — each region has its own fish.

Collectible Fish

• 432 species to catch across three regions — over 500 counting seasonal fish and Monster encounters.
• 2,046 pattern and colour combinations, so two anglers holding the same species rarely hold the same fish.
• 7 rarity tiers, from Common all the way up to Unique.
• 14 special traits — Albino, Iridescent, Golden, Colossal, Bioluminescent and more. Rarer fish can carry up to four at once.
• That's over 12 million possible fish in total. Good luck completing the collection.
• Hook a Monster Fish if your rod is up to the challenge.

Your Angler's Licence

• /profile renders your own fishing licence card — level, lifetime catches, best streak, home server, and your most valuable catch shown off on the card.
• Customise it with /card: pick a background, a name style, and up to six stamps from the achievements and titles you've earned.

Build Your Camp

• Bait Bin, Breeding Tank, Display Tank and more — each upgradeable.
• Display your best fish to earn passive coins every day.
• Breed your catches for rare mutations.

Treasure Chests

• Random chest drops while fishing.
• Active fishing servers earn randomly dropped bonus chests in their server, but make sure you are paying attention to grab it!
• Loot contains bait, consumables, exclusive titles, procedurally generated gear with buffs, and more!
• Seasonal varieties with unique seasonal rewards, titles, gear, and more!
• Got a pile of spare gear? /salvage turns 10 unwanted pieces into a fresh chest.

Compete

• Weekly and monthly "most fish caught" contests with live standings on /leaderboard.
• Champions earn Unique Chests and pearls.
• Server of the Month — the server that catches the most fish wins a 7-day Rarity Boost for everyone in it.

Trade & Play Together

• /trade for interactive multi-item swaps with another angler, or /give to just hand something over.
• Refer a friend with /referral and you both benefit.

Special Events

• Fishing Frenzy: cooldowns drop to 10 seconds for 5 minutes. Fires at 8 PM in active servers, and can strike at random any time.
• Random encounters at the end of a session — a riddling stranger, a lucky frog, a wish upon a star. 10 to discover.
• Seasonal chests and limited-time seasonal fish.
