made using https://aoty.prigoana.pw/ i tried to make full use of everything that this api exposes, the bot can lookup any album (with an cool autocomplete on slash comands) and match with the best search results from aoty, with /album the bot gets the full details of an album, artist, album name, realeses date, if its an LP EP or an single, label, genres, tags, critics and user score and numer of reviews, if avaliable shows the top critic review on the embed with an button that sends an ephemeral message with all reviews, credits for an album are also show in a button on the album embed, most streaming plataforms where the album is available with hyper links. Users can also use standalone comands to get an specific info about the album without always having to get the full embem. the bot also has a few music discovery related commands like /upcoming that shows all the upcoming albums with realeses date if available, /discover anticipated that lists the most anticipated albums right now, /discover top for top albums right now, /discover singes for all top singled right now, /discover radar that tries to show some good albums that arent getting so much attention,/must hear lists albums that you MUST HEAR filtered by decade, /lists shows hyperlink for recent critics views, /news shows recent music related news. some of those commands have an page args (with next/previous buttons on embeds) and an year/ decade arg as well. the bot also has an simple lastfm integration (no auth) that allows users so link thier profiles with an lastfm account via username for convenience, like, /album if used with bo args uses your now playing/ last scrobble on lastfm, searches on aoty the uses the best match.
