Rule-meister

A simple rule bot that grants roles on join & when accepting rules.

Notes

This bot is quite new so may still have some issues, will update as fast as possible if any issues are found. Pull requests are also welcome.

NOTE: After having joined 100+ servers, the bot is no longer able to grant roles to people when they join. Nor can they give a membership role to people who the bot has not yet "seen" (It needs to have seen a @mention or a message from the user before it can find them). I have requested additional permissions from Discord to whitelist the bot for this, that case is still pending as of now (2020-11-18).

Commands

?rules bind: Bind the channel to post the rules message to (!roles bind #rules)

?rules check_settings: Check to see if all the settings are set (?rules check_settings)

?rules grant_role: Set the grant role to be granted to new members (?rules grant_role @Member)

?rules initial_role: Set the initial role to be granted to new members (?rules initial_role @Unverified)

?rules message: Set the message to be posted to the rules channel (?rules message Please follow these rules...)

?rules post: Post the category messages and role reactions (?rules post)
