Duel-Maker is a Yu-Gi-Oh bot used for either searching card or building decks, collecting cards and dueling each other with it.
Card Searching
- To search a card you just need to put its name in double brackets like so: "((Dark Magician))".
- The bracket search can be changed by Administrator (for example to "{{Dark Magician}}")
- You can search up to 5 cards in the same message.
- Duel-Maker supports cards from multiple languages. To search in a language .other than English, you must first create a Duel-Maker profile using /register.
Creating a Deck
- Duel-Maker allows you to create a multiple of decks using /deck create.
- There are different types of decks: Master Duel Deck, Phantom Master Deck, Speed Duel Deck and Phantom Speed Deck. "Master" decks have 40-60 Main Deck cards and 0-15 Extra Deck cards. "Speed" decks have 20-30 Main Deck cards and 0-7 Extra Deck Cards. A normal Deck require you to use the cards you have collected. A Phantom Deck on the other hand lets you use any card in Duel-Makers database.
- Once you create a profile you automatically get a Structure Deck of your choosing assigned.
Dueling other people
- As long as you and your opponent have a deck, you can duel each other at any time.
- You can only duel each other if you use the same deck type.
- Finishing a duel yield rewards in form of soft currency, cards or upgrades.
- Cards do not have scripts. The duelists activate and execute the effects themselves (similar to Dueling Books).
- A bunch of commands to search cards/play them from the Extra Deck/return them to the deck exist.
- If you have more questions about dueling, try reading trough /generic tutorial or asking on the support server.
Duel-Grid
- Duel-Maker has a feature called Duel-Grid which lets you set/play cards on a canvas image using the /grid command series.
- The mat/sleeve may be customized.
- Supports both Master Duel and Speed Duel fields.
- You can set a default Duel Field Type using /settings default-grid-type and can let Duel-Maker show the grid after each grid command using /settings auto-grid.
Skills
- Duel-Maker has Skills that can be equipped to a deck and used during a duel.
- Skills can be obtained from the Shop or trough other means.
Language Support
- Duel-Maker supports multiple languages that can be chosen for individual users or for the server itself.
- Language also affects the Card Search.
Shop
- Duel-Maker has two shops, one for Duel Points and one for Star Chips. The first can be easily obtained from duels, the second one can be obtained from events or Gift-Codes.
- From the shop you can buy Card Packs, Skills, Structure Decks and Single Cards.
- The Card Packs in the Shop can be inspected using /generic pack-info or opened with /generic pack-open (using this method does not yield any cards as rewards and is purely for fun).
Card Collection
- Using /card list you can look at the cards you have collected so far. You may also pass filters when executing the command.
Custom Cards
- You may create Custom Cards in Duel-Maker (check image below). This will add that specific card to the bracket search and available for Phantom Decks.
Factions
- Duel-Maker factions are a secondary progression system. You level them simply by dueling, editing decks and buying items.
- Factions can be changed and prestiged with enough xp, revealing new items with every prestige.
Server-Options
- Duel-Maker allows you to manage certain settings in you server by using /settings server-options. This can only be executed if you have "ADMINISTRATOR" permissions on a server.
- The panel allows you to restrict certain card types/prohibit skills as well as lets you change the bracket search to something you find more fitting.
- The panel lets you define a Judge Role which can access the Judge commands on your server.
Duel-Maker Judge
- If you are a Judge (have the Judge Role that can be configured with the server panel), you may cancel a duel on your server or freeze/unfreeze a player.
The old Bot
- The old Version of the Bot as well as all data collected is still available on a secondary bot that can be invited using this link.

- There is a support server available for the bot where I post the stuff I am currently working on.
