Bonsai

Customize different bonsai trees using bases, trunks, and leaves from the marketplace and setting a background color. All users can upload these parts to their shop and earn money when someone buys from them. The customers can then replace the parts in trees with the ones in their inventories.

Get Started

1. Start your journey by creating your first tree with create [Tree Name <= 50 characters]. This name can be changed at any time later on with rename "[Old Tree Name]" [New Tree Name <= 50 characters].

 

2. Parts can be uploaded to your shop with list [Part Type] [Part Name <= 50 characters] [0 < List Price < 10000]. Ensure that the images are the correct size for each part; more information on this is in the list command below.

 

3. Parts can be bought from others or yourself with buy [Part Name] [Member=optional]. This will add the part to your inventory. You can see it and its corresponding inventory number with inventory. From there, add it to your tree with replace [Inventory Number] [Tree Name]. The old part will be moved to your inventory, and the new part will be added to your tree.

 

4. To see the details of all your trees use trees [Member=optional]. For specific trees, use tree [Tree Name] to view details and see the image. You can change the background color for each tree with color [Color Hex Code] [Tree Name]. The default color is blue (#0000ff).

 

5. Enjoy customizing your trees to your heart's content! Buy from others or create and sell parts yourself. Compete with friends for the most beautiful tree (view the trees of other users with visit [Member] [Tree Name]).

 

Usage

Argument Definitions

Part Type: base, trunk, or leafpattern. Member=optional: If you don't input a member here, it will default to yourself.

The default prefix is b!. This can be changed with the prefix command. Commands can also be called by mentioning the bot.

• Description
  • about: Displays a general description of the bot as well as other useful information about it.
  • help: Displays the help message with the list of commands.

 

• Trees
  • color [Color Hex Code] [Tree Name]: Replace the background color of tree Tree Name.
  • create [Tree Name <= 50 characters]: Creates a tree with the name Tree Name.
  • delete [Tree Name]: Deletes the tree Tree Name and returns all its parts to your inventory.
  • replace [Inventory Number] [Tree Name]: Replace a part on tree Tree Name with the part at Inventory Number in your inventory. The old part will return to your inventory.
  • rename "[Old Tree Name]" [New Tree Name <= 50 characters]: Rename the tree Old Tree Name to New Tree Name. Old Tree Name must be surrounded by quotes ("") if there is a space in it.

  • reset [Tree Name]: Reset tree Tree Name to defaults (parts and color). The parts are not returned to your inventory.
  • tree [Tree Name]: Displays the tree Tree Name.
  • trees [Member=optional]: Displays all of Member's trees.
  • visit [Member] [Tree Name]: Display Member's tree Tree Name.

 

• Shop
  • buy [Part Name] [Member=optional]: Buy part Part Name from Member.
  • buyid [Part Name] [Member ID]: Buy part Part Name from Member.
  • list [Part Type] [Part Name <= 50 characters] [0 < List Price < 10000]: List a part for sale in your shop. This must have an attached image to use for the part. Bases must be 15 x 3, trunks must be 15 x 12, and leaves must be 15 x 12. There is a maximum of 15 part listings per user, which may be increased later on.
  • shop [Part Type] [Member=optional]: Show all the parts that Member has listed as Part Type.
  • shopid [Part Type] [Member ID]: Show all the parts that Member has listed as Part Type.
  • shoprandom: Shop for a random part from any user. Shows the user's id at the top which can be used in the shopid and buyid commands.
  • unlist [Part Name]: Unlist part Part Name from your shop.

 

• Economy
  • balance [Member=optional]: Shows your balance or the balance of someone else.
  • daily: Claim your daily reward ($50-$100).
  • top: Shows the users with the top ten balances.

 

• Inventory
  • clearinventory: Removes all parts from your inventory.
  • inventory [Inventory Number=Optional]: Displays all the parts in your inventory and their corresponding inventory number. If an Inventory Number is entered, information for that specific part will be displayed.
  • removeinventory [Inventory Number]: Remove part at Inventory Number from your inventory (does not refund any money).

 

• Management
  • prefix [New Prefixes]: Change the bot's prefixes to New Prefixes on your server. Separate each new prefix with a space.
  • ping: Display bot's ping.
