Falu

Imagine you have a large Discord server with many roles. You want to give some users the ability to give out a "Friend" role, but you don't want them to have the ability to give any other role, like one can with Manage Roles. Falu lets you delegate role-granting power without handing out the keys to every role.

In non-marketing terms: you configure rules for who can give out which roles, and to whom — so, for example, an unverified user can't get handed a role meant for verified members.

How it works

A rule is a tree of AND / OR conditions: grantor role, target role, and member conditions (account age, current roles, server owner, and more). Nest as deep as you need. The bot evaluates the exact same tree the dashboard shows you — what's written is what's enforced.

Example: Moderators may grant Event Host to members who are either older than 30 days or below the moderator's own highest role.

Members run /give-role themselves — Falu checks the rule instantly and grants or denies, no manual approval step. Turn any rule into its own custom command with its own name and description if you don't want members touching /give-role's arguments directly.

Should I use it?

You don't need a bot for everything. If your team is small and you trust your members, you probably don't need this. But if you want mods (or anyone) to be able to grant specific roles without trusting them with Manage Roles itself, Falu is for you.

Setup

1. Invite the bot — it only needs Manage Roles.
2. Go to the dashboard and pick your server.
3. Configure rules, and optionally custom commands.

The dashboard also keeps a paginated audit log of every grant, denial, and failure — so you can see exactly what happened and why.
